Hello! my name is Genevieve Althea and I am an Australian photographer based in Vancouver, Canada.

I take joy in noticing and capturing the small moments of life, documenting the stunning places I have travelled to and the beautiful people I meet.  I also find a lot of joy in hearing and sharing stories.

I have been running my photography business on the side of my social work career for the last 15 years, and have loved every moment of it!

And now getting to do photography in Vancouver, and across Canada, has been such a gift!!

As a wedding photographer I am relaxed and easy-going, I love to go with the flow of the day and just have fun with the couple.

When photographing weddings I love getting to know the couple I am working with, in the hopes to keep things as calm and easy as possible on the day.

When out shooting the individual couple shots, I will generally ask you questions; get you to share what you love most about each other, share stories about your favourite memories together, about your first date, about your hopes and dreams for the future together, or I will just tell you silly stories and have a bit of a laugh!
